Make the person feel comfortable and
relax
In the first step, all you have to do is simply ask the person to lay down in a chair. Then, give the person some calm and relaxing tone. Practice this step. Because, if you have a shaky voice, the person you are going to be hypnotized will consciously reject any suggestions that you are going to make. Do it as firm and assertive as possible without block the calm tone. This act will makes them relaxed and the person will be set in the mood to be hypnotized. Remember, once someone has been hypnotized, he can easily be re-hypnotized again with a finger click.
Make the person focus on something
Then, once you completed the first step, you are going to divert the person
attention away from all his conscious surrounding. It can be an object or an
image. Just like any other stage hypnosis, some hypnotists choose a watch for
their tools to hypnotize a person. All you have to do with the watch is simply
swing it in front of the person eye.
Make the person unconscious
Actually, this is an additional step. In the practice, you can jump to the fourth step. The purpose why I add this step is because with an unconscious mind, a person is more easily to hypnotize. All you have to do is easily just ask them to sleep. Remember, you have to make it as firm & assertive as possible.
Give the person suggestion
Now, for the third and final step, make a direct suggestion to his subconscious
mind. Because you have done all the previous two step, here, you can give any
suggestion for him. I repeat, any suggestion. It can be a suggestion to make
them more confident, or even make them falling in love for us.
In addition you should have skills to:
- Carefully observe persons who are in a hypnotic state and ascertain their comfort zone throughout the entire show.
- Master public speaking capabilities in order to get volunteers and entertain your audience.
- Recognize ethics associated with hypnosis and can quickly identify the risks which can incur by participants.
- Fully understand how to control the behaviors of individuals in a trance state, whether good or bad.
